Welcome to season 2011 @ RFYC

Last year saw a huge drive towards fundraising events. With your generosity we were able to raise a phenomenal amount for various projects, allowing us to enhance the facilities for the membership both on and off the water.

As a ‘thank you’, the social committee invites you to join them on Saturday 2^nd April from 7pm onwards for a welcome glass or two of wine, along with a selection of cheeses, and to have a look around your Club and see the changes that have been on-going over the winter period, these include :-

A SIX CHANGE –

• Refurbished dining room/café
• Newly carpeted long room and small bar
• Refreshed stairwell
• Brightened veranda
• Cosy wood burner
• New patio furniture

In addition to this we have also purchased round tables and trestles suitable for functions and conference use.

These improvements have been made possible as a result of your generosity, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who attended functions/activities or donated time/items.

There is still more to be done, and your input and ideas would be very welcome on ways to keep the Club going forward and enhancing our facilities to help make it better for all of the membership, and to attract new members.

The kitchen is under new management and will be open for business from Friday night. The café opens on Saturday, so why not take the opportunity to try the new menu and support our steward and caterer.

So a glass of wine, catch up with friends and plan your summer in Findhorn, what could be better?
